What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
Sustaining a long term relationship, having been with my partner for the last 30 years.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you?
A helicopter, a pilot and enough fuel to get back to civilisation when I’m ready to.
What three words would others use to describe you?
You’d have to ask them.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
Henry VIII or Elizabeth I. They lived in such an interesting era it would be fascinating to see what they were really like. If I was to meet Henry VIII though, it would preferably be before he had an ulcerous leg that stank.
Are you a dog person or a cat person?
Cat, although I don’t have any pets
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I have a bucket list, which I’m slowly working my way through. Italy seems to feature heavily in it. Not too long a flight, great food, scenery and hopefully weather when you get there.
Why did you choose your profession?
It was a natural progression, having started work on the counter in a local bank straight from college at the age of 18 and working through various roles within the banking sector.
What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?
- To play a keyboard, I started to learn when I was 11 but gave up.
- Learn a language, as I always feel so ignorant on holiday not being able to and assuming everyone else can speak English.
- Qualify to drive a HGV. Pass ARDS to be able in theory to race.
